Quick & Easy Access to PrEP or PEP
Immediate Access
PrEP-AP Immediate Access allows you to enroll in PrEP-AP for 30 days of limited eligibility for assitance with Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) or Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) for the prevention of HIV. You can
create an account and self-enroll through the Immediate Access portalā to receive coverage. If you have already created an account, you can
self-enroll using the client portalā. You can enroll in PrEP-AP Immediate Access twice in a 2-year period for
PrEP. You can enroll in PrEP-AP Immediate Access 13 times in a 1-year period for
PEP. You can

Once enrolled, you can obtain a prescription for PrEP/PEP from a provider. If you enroll in Immediate Access as insured, you must visit a provider in your health plan's network. If you are uninsured, a minor (age 13ā17), or cannot use insurance you have through a parent or spouse due to confidentiality concerns, you can
visit a PrEP-AP Clinical Providerā. After receiving a prescription, you can access a 30-day supply of PrEP or PEP
from a PrEP-AP network pharmacyā.
The limited benefit for PrEP-AP Immediate Access includes the PrEP and PEP medications
detailed in the PrEP-AP Formularyā, and the services
included in the Immediate Access Allowable Servicesā.
