The Office of School Health Hub consolidates key resources and information to support the health, safety, and well-being of TK-12 students and staff and mitigate the spread of communicable diseases. New resources will be added to the Hub on a routine basis.

The Epinephrine Standing Order is Now UpdatedAn updated version of CDPH's Epinephrine Standing Order is now available to meet SB 568 requirements. The updated standing order now provides access to epinephrine nasal spray devices. Authorization for CDPH's standing order now includes licensed childcare facilities with a Local Education Agency (LEA) affiliation. Individual schools, LEAs, and County Offices of Education are eligible to apply. CalRx program to provide TK-12 schools with Albuterol inhalers and disposable spacers free of cost.
Reporting Requirements:
Epinephrine Standing Order: Annual reporting of all instances where auto-injectors were administered in schools is required. Please submit your annual report when renewing your standing order.
Albuterol Standing Order: Incidents where albuterol was administered must be reported within
three business days. If you have outstanding reports, include them with your renewal application.
