Attention Newborn Screening (NBS) Screening Information System (SIS) User!
We’re pleased to announce that the NBS program will migrate from SIS 1.0 to SIS 2.0 on May 18, 2026!
What’s Changing and Why?
- SIS 2.0 is powered by Microsoft Dynamics, featuring a streamlined interface for operational efficiency.
- SIS 2.0 has better compatibility with case management systems already in use, leading to more reliable access and steady performance.
When Will Training Be Available?
Starting in March 2026, we will begin offering training tailored to active NBS SIS 1.0 users according to their current roles. This training is designed to familiarize you with the upgraded NBS SIS 2.0 platform.
Why This Matters:
Participating in training is essential to ensure a smooth transition and prepare users to perform their job responsibilities using SIS 2.0.
How will training be conducted?
We will offer a variety of training resources to support all users. Users will have access to webinars, virtual classroom training, user guides, and recorded videos.
Next Steps:
Keep an eye out for upcoming meeting invitations and additional resources to help you prepare.
