The OHE AC is made up of a broad range of experts, advocates, clinicians, representatives from applicable state agencies and departments, local health departments, community-based organizations, and service providers that work to:
- Achieve the highest level of health and mental health equity for all people, with special attention focused on unserved and underrepresented communities.
- Collaborate with the Health in All Policies (HiAP) Task Force to identify and address the complexities of health and mental health inequities through improved social and environmental factors.
- Advise and assist other state departments in increasing the access and quality of health and mental health care and services.
