The Immunization Branch helps protect Californians against vaccine-preventable diseases by:
- Helping them know which vaccines are needed, where to get vaccinated and how to access their immunization records
- Monitoring, investigating and controlling diseases and outbreaks
- Improving access to vaccines
- Supporting school and childcare immunization requirements
