The California Newborn Screening P​rogram and Provider Responsibilities webinar​ was held on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 5 pm. This webinar presented an overview of the California Newborn Screening Program process, its importance for infant health, key benefits, and the vital role of the prenatal and antenatal primary care provider. 

Continuing medical education (CME) credits are available for viewing this recording. The Genetic Disease Screening Program designates this enduring content (recorded) activity for a maximum of 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in this activity. The Genetic Disease Screening Program, California Department of Public Health is accredited by the California Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
