The Public Health Network Information Exchange (PHNIX) is a bold initiative to build a more modernized and sustainable public health infrastructure. California launched PHNIX to advance public health strategies that are based on the best available science and tools. PHNIX integrates three essential pillars: Innovation, Collaboration, and Communication.

PHNIX works with partners to address challenges in public health and preventive care in a coordinated way, specifically addressing ways to:

Align public health strategies
Build systems to share critical information that empowers people to make health decisions
