​​Carrie Jones, MD, MPH, MA, MS

​Dr. Carrie Jones has been a Public Health Medical Officer in the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch since 2011. Previously, Dr. Jones was a Public Health Medical Officer in the CDPH Division of Environmental and Occupational Disease Control Emergency Planning and Preparedness Team, and was a Public Health Medical Officer with Cal/EPA's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment. Before her positions with the State of California, she worked on the Childhood Autism Risks from Genetics and the Environment (CHARGE) study at the UC Davis MIND Institute.

​​​Dr. Jones is a graduate of the CDPH Preventive Medicine Residency Program and is board certified in General Preventive Medicine and Public Health.  Her degrees include an MD from the University of Iowa, an MPH from the University of California, Davis, and an MA in education and MS in statistics from Stanford University.​​​
