*Only parolees who entered the ā€‹United States - Afghan (July 31, 2021 - September 30, 2023) and Ukrainian (February 24, 2022 - September 30, 2023) and specific derivatives of these parolees (spouses, children) who arrived after September 30, 2023 are eligible.

Please note that as of September 30, 2023, only certain relatives (spouses, children) of Afghan and Ukrainian parolees are eligible for benefits provided through the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), including the Refugee Health Assessment Program. If arriving after September 30, 2023, please read the ORR Dear Colleague Letter (PDF) to check for eligibility for Office of Refugee Health services. ā€‹

For more information on eligibility of Nicaraguan and Venezuelan Paroleesā€‹, please view the California Department of Social Services letter (PDF). The letā€‹ter also provides more information on the California Food Assistance Program (CFAP), the Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants (CAPI), and Medi-Cal under PRUCOL (Permanentlyā€‹ Residing Under Color of Law). All applicants for Medi-Cal under PRUCOL must include ā€‹ā€‹ā€‹the Statement of Citizenship, Alienage, and Immigration Status (PDF)ā€‹ and upload it with their application as a supporting document.
