Where Do Interns Work and What Do They Do?

The California Pathways into Public Health (Pathways) Internship Program partners with a variety of California local county and city health departments to host interns. 

The list of local health departments (LHDs) that apply to host an intern changes each semester. Applicants will be able to select their preferred local health departments from the available options on the supplemental application.

Interns work in a variety of subject areas, depending on the needs of the local health department and the interests of the intern.
