​Notice of Public Hearing 

California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is holding a public hearing in response to a petition to discuss the expansion of medical staff membership in Title 22 CCR sections 70529(b), 70701(a)(1)(E), and 70703(a)(1) to include Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, and other licensed independent practitioners. CDPH welcomes public input during this hearing process. Please attend the hearing prepared to share your comments and suggestions after reviewing a copy of the petition and hearing information found on the Office of Regulations - Petition Information webpage.

The meeting will be held via webinar using Zoom on May 8, 2024, from 11:00am to 12:00pm. Please use the Zoom Registration link to register. When choosing an audio connection, select “Phone Call.”
