The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of the people in California. Due to the recent outbreak of swine influenza, CDPH is distributing information about infection control to help prevent the further spread of swine influenza.
CDPH is attaching a document about infection control recommendations to assist healthcare workers in outpatient settings to triage and manage patients who may be ill with H1N1 influenza virus.
CDPH also strongly recommends that facilities monitor these two websites on a regular basis as they will be updated continually as new information becomes available.
