The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is dedicated to protecting the health and well-being of the people in California. Due to the recent outbreak of swine influenza, CDPH is distributing information about infection control to help prevent the further spread of swine influenza.

CDPH has included an attachment about infection control. The attachment is designed for hospitals, but CDPH requests that all clinics follow the recommendations, as appropriate, until new recommendations are sent out with specific information for clinics.
