Power Outages and Food Safety Social Media Toolkit

The California Department of Public Health/Women, Infants and Children Division (CDPH/WIC) has developed a social media toolkit containing food safety guidance for when California residents across the state may experience power outages. The social media content is derived from existing guidelines on food safety and safe use of infant formula and breastmilk from CDPH/WIC, the United States Department of Agriculture, the United States Food and Drug Administration, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
