WIC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration Toolkit

Since 1974, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program has been a cornerstone in supporting the health and nutrition of families across the nation. WIC supports California’s caregivers, infants, and children with essential nutrition education, breastfeeding guidance, and access to nutritious foods, ensuring families at nutritional risk have the foundation for a healthier future.

This year, WIC program celebrates its 50th anniversary. To honor this milestone, the California Department of Public Health/Women, Infants and Children Division (CDPH/WIC) has created a special WIC 50th Anniversary communications toolkit for local agencies and partners to use.
