Dashboard Instructions
These data dashboards consist of several elements, some of which are interactive. Below are general instructions on how to use these dashboards.
Please note that not all the dashboards have all the same elements or data to report.
Dashboards
The data are organized into one or two dashboard tabs: State Dashboard and County Dashboard. MIHA data include a third tab: Regional Dashboard. To navigate to another dashboard tab, use (1) the grey rectangular buttons above the big numbers banner or (2) the arrow buttons below the last bar chart.
Filters

State Dashboard
ā A filter is available so that a year can be selected. Once the year is selected, the data described below will automatically be updated to show the filtered information.

County and Regional Dashboards
ā Two filters are available so that (1) grouped years and (2) county or region can be selected. Once the filters are selected, the data described below will automatically be updated to show the filtered information.
Tooltips
ā Move the mouse pointer so that it hovers over one of the dashboard objects mentioned below. A tooltip, or pop-up window, will appear. The tooltip contains additional details for the indicator, such as the indicator name, category, geography, year, subcategory, numerator, denominator, rate and upper and lower confidence limits. See āAbout the Data" for more information.
Big Numbers Banner
ā Move the mouse pointer so that it hovers over a big number in the banner at the top of the dashboard. The tooltip provides additional details for the indicator.
Map
ā Move the mouse pointer so that it hovers over a county in the map. The tooltip provides additional details for the county.
Bar Charts
ā Move the mouse pointer so that it hovers over a bar/subcategory in the bar chart. The tooltip provides additional details for the subcategory. The corresponding line for the subcategory in the trend chart will be highlighted.
Trend Charts
ā Move the mouse pointer so that it hovers over a trend line/subcategory in the trend chart. The corresponding bar for the subcategory in the bar chart will be highlighted. On each axis point of the trend line, the tooltip provides additional details for the subcategory.
Use the bars/colors in the bar chart as the legend for the trend lines.
Download the Data
ā All the underlying data for the dashboards can be downloaded as one ADA-compliant table. The downloaded data are comma-separated values (CSV) tables which include years, geographies, categories, subcategories, numerators, denominators, rates and upper and lower confidence limits. ā
