Introduction

Below are a number of resources and web links related to Meaningful Use and Health Information Exchange, including a link to the Health Information Exchange (HIE) Gateway, which allow providers, hospitals and health information exchange organizations to register and manage public health data exchange with CDPH for specific types of reportable diseases and conditions.  Other resources include sample data use and business associate agreements, and a document suggesting definitions of "minimum necessary" for access for a variety of scenarios.
