The materials linked below are designed to raise awareness and support efforts in preventing alcohol-related harms. Organizations may use these materials as references for their own initiatives and/or share them within their networks to promote learning and collaboration across communities.

The suggested captions are designed to be suitable for all social media platforms, including X (formerly Twitter), ensuring you can easily share the important messages with your audiences.

Suggested Caption: In California from 2020–21, men accounted for 69% of all alcohol-related deaths among adults, with the highest number of deaths among men aged 50–64. It's never too late to adopt healthier habits and drink less alcohol, if at all. Even small changes can make a big difference.

Suggested Caption: Drinking alcohol raises the risk of several kinds of cancer, including mouth and throat, voice box, esophagus, colon and rectum, liver, and breast (in women). All alcoholic drinks are linked with cancer. Drinking less, or not at all, can lower your risk for cancer.
