Our Public Relations section provides resources to funded partners, such as press releases and media advisory templates, social media post recommendations, relevant message and data points, and informational/training webinars. In addition, we provide technical assistance in support of local partner events and activities.  

What is Rethink Your Drink Day?

Rethink Your Drink Day is a Statewide Day of Action in California to raise awareness about the health effects of sugary drinks and promote the benefits of drinking water.  On the same day, local organizations have the ability to execute this event to promote healthy living across the entire state of California. Be Better Field Guide

The Be Better Field Guide is a collection of local level promotions, media materials, community activities, and message points, all designed to help local health departments promote healthy eating and drinking, physical activity, and policy, systems and environmental change. Champions for Change Recruitment and Orientation Guide

Part 1, the Champions for Change Recruitment Training, is designed to help LIAs recruit and promote Champions for Change in their local communities. Part 2, the Champions for Change Orientation Training, is designed to equip new Champions with the information and resources needed to be effective agents of change in their counties.
