Environmental Epidemiology Section

The Environmental Epidemiology Section conducts scientific studies and public health investigations on the relationships between environmental factors and health problems affecting Californians. We investigate environmental agents such as tobacco smoke, air pollution, and chemicals, as well as community health concerns, such as autism, asthma, cancer, obesity, and preterm birth.
