California WIC State Plan
The State Plan is a written agreement between the United States Department of Agriculture and CDPH/WIC Division that assures compliance with federal program requirements. The plan is submitted each year and covers October through September of each year.

Maximize Participation in the WIC Program |

By 9/30/22, fully implement telehealth technologies (live video conferencing and mobile health messaging) for use by all WIC local agencies. |
Goal II: |
Promote and Support Breastfeeding |

By 9/30/22, convert 100% of printed education materials to an electronic format and post on the MyFamily.WIC.ca.gov website to support remote breastfeeding services. |

Improve Food Access through Online Ordering |

By 9/30/22, Plan and implement an online ordering pilot to learn about the challenges of an online ordering process. |
