Applicants who choose to take a certification exam for licensure purposes in California must take and pass a quiz on state laboratory law whenever applicable to the license type.
Applicants will be required to take the California state clinical laboratory law quiz when they apply for the applicable licensure type.

The quiz consists of ten multiple choice questions. A minimum of 7 correct answers is required to pass the quiz.
The quiz may be taken as many times required to pass.
A passing score will allow the applicant to proceed with the application submission process and move the application forward to be placed in queue for review after payment is made.
