PrEP Assistance Program (PrEP-AP) Service Providers
Enrollment sites must be approved and certified through the Office of AIDS. Certified enrollment sites are limited to community-based non-profit organizations, clinics, medical providers, and case management service providers.
Only certified enrollment workers (EWs) can enroll clients into the PrEP-AP. New EWs must attend a scheduled WebEx training, and recertify annually through a web-based training. If your EW certification has lapsed and you need additional time until the next training, please contact your ADAP advisor. Magellan Rx Management
Magellan Rx Management provides pharmacy benefits management services for PrEP-AP. Clients will receive a prescription benefit card from Magellan and have access to a California pharmacy network with over 5,500 pharmacies. Pool Administrators, Incorporated (PAI)
Pool Administrators, Inc. provides medical benefit management services for PrEP-AP. PAI will pay outpatient medical out-of-pocket costs for PrEP-related clinical services. All eligible PrEP-AP clients will receive a client ID card to provide to medical providers when they receive approved PrEP-related clinical services.
For medical providers who would like to establish a direct payment method for medical out-of-pocket costs, please contact the PAI Customer Service Representative team Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 1-877-495-0990.

PrEP-AP Provider Network
The PrEP-AP Provider Network is composed of clinical service providers who have contracted with the Office of AIDS to provide PrEP-related medical services as recommended in the Centers for Disease Control's Clinical Practice Guidelines for PrEP.
