Effective October 8, 2021, the following meningitis vaccines have been added to the PrEP-AP formulary: Bexsero, Menactra, Menveo, and Truemba.

The vaccines are available to PrEP-AP clients for administration in a clinical setting. The attached PrEP-AP Policy Provider Memo 2021-04  was sent to PrEP-AP Clinical Providers to announce the addition of the meningitis vaccine. 

Additionally, allowable physician administered medications were previously announced via a number of PrEP-AP Policy Provider Memos, including PPM 2018-01, MM 2019-06, MM 2019-31 and PPM 220-03. The attached "Allowable Clinically Administered Medications List" is a comprehensive list of all of PrEP-AP's allowable clinically administered medications. Moving forward, it will be the point of reference for this information and it will be updated for future changes. 

ADAP management requests that you share this information with your clinical leadership team and local prescribers. The PrEP-AP formulary has been updated to reflect the addition of this vaccine.
