Farmers Market Social Media Toolkit
The California Department of Public Health/Women, Infants and Children Division (CDPH/WIC) has developed social media promoting the WIC farmers' market program. Buying local fruits and vegetables at WIC-authorized farmers' markets is one of the best parts of #CaliforniaWIC. WIC families can use their Fruits and Vegetables Benefit all year with farmers who accept the WIC Card. Families can also use seasonal WIC Farmers' Market Nutrition Program checks to buy fresh, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, and cut herbs from any WIC-authorized farmers at authorized farmers markets and farm stands.
