Subject: X-ray and Nuclear Medicine Technology: Initial Applications.
āThe Radiologic Health Branch (RHB) āis pleased to announce that as of February 23, 2023, the Certification Support Unit (CSU) will provide an expeditious method of communication between CSU and applicants seeking new X-ray certificates and permits or Nuclear Medicine Technology certificates. The primary method of communication to new applicants/examination candidates has been notification via US mail. CSU shall now notify applicants of the status of their application via email if a valid email address is provided on their application. CSU strongly encourages new applicants to provide a valid email address on their new certificate and permit applications, as this will allow for expedited communications related to application status and next steps, examination results, as well as general inquiries.
A new email address has been created so that applicants may contact CSU directly: RHBCSU@cdph.ca.gov. Constituents must not email sensitive or protected health information (i.e., social security number, driver's license number, medical information). Applications must be submitted via US mail. Applications received via email will not be accepted.
ā
You may email RHBCSU@cdph.ca.gov for inquiries related to the following:
- General inquiries pertaining to obtaining a new RHB certificate or permit
