Disease Reporting
Suspected cases or outbreaks of communicable diseases such as chickenpox, measles, pertussis and meningitis must be reported by school or pre-kindergarten personnel to the local health department. Note that some of these diseases must be reported immediately by phone. Please do not wait until the child returns to pre-kindergarten or school before contacting the local health department.
