The California Department of Public Health, Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Branch (CLPPB), is planning the first major update since 2008 of the lead-related construction regulation under Title​ 17 of the California Code of Regulations (i.e., 17 CCR 35001 - 36100)​.   

Your input can help CLPPB update the existing regulation and facilitate incorporation of Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule regulations per Senate Bill 1076. CLPPB is asking you to consider two questions:

Question #1 - What information should the CLPPB consider to amend, strike, or add to the existing Title 17 regulations? (Question #1 - Title 17 Update)

Question #2 - What concerns does your industry have regarding the RRP regulations or adding them to Title 17? (Question #2 - RRP Harmonization)
