Lyme Disease Advisory Committee

The mission of the Lyme Disease Advisory Committee (LDAC) is to make recommendations to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) on strategies to enhance the awareness of the public and the medical community about Lyme disease in California, and thereby reduce exposure to, and suffering from, this and other tick-borne diseases.

The Committee is made up of members representing the California Lyme Disease Association, Lyme disease support network, university researchers, the Mosquito and Vector Control Association of California, the California Medical Association, California Conference of Local Health Officers, and CDPH. A broad range of views is represented on this Committee, allowing for important exchanges of ideas on Lyme disease education.

The next LDAC meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, April 11, 2024 ā€” see agenda below. ā€‹ā€‹Please contact the CDPH Vector-Borne Disease Section at (916) 552-9730 if you have any questions.
