āCDPH/CHVP Memo #: 24-02 State Fiscal Year (SFY) 23-24 Special Support Report Extension and Submission Update
Purpose
The purpose of this memo is to inform local health jurisdictions (LHJs) funded by CHāVPā State General Funds (SGF) that the due date for the SFY23-24 Special Support Report has been extended to April 15, 2024.
Background
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) receives and will allocate approximately $47.8 million annually in SGF local assistance funding to expand the CHVP evidence-based home visiting (EBHV) services. LHJs may use a portion of their annual SGF EBHV allocation for allowable Special Support Activities for a limited time.
Updates
The SFY 23-24 Special Support Report will now become part of the Status Report deliverables due bi-annually via SharePoint. Further guidance will be provided in 2024 and can be expected to align with previous interim reporting guidance.
