The Environmental Health Investigations Branch (EHIB) of the California Department of Public Health studies and explains how the health of our environment ā including our air, buildings, climate, soil, and water ā affects our health. Using this information, we inform and partner with others to optimize health in California. The Branch includes the following programs.
