Alpine, Mono and Inyo County Residents
Radon Screening Survey
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Indoor Radon Program is offering residents of these counties free radon test kits. The kits are funded by a grant from the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). CDPH and the California Geological Survey (CGS) are conducting a radon screening survey in Alpine, Mono and Inyo Counties and are asking for your help by testing your home for radon.
Through this program you can test your home at no cost to you; the test kits include mailing, analysis and test results. The do it yourself test is very simple and should not interfere with your normal household activities and takes less than three days.
If you have questions about the CDPH study, please call (916) 449-5674 or send an email to Radonprogram@cdph.ca.gov . We sincerely appreciate your participation in this important radon screening survey.
