• Overview of HIV/AIDS Surveillance in California - November 2008 (PPT)- Slide set presentation provides an overview of HIV and AIDS core and incidence surveillance, HIV/AIDS prevalence, and HIV incidence in CA and describes key related Centers for Disease Control and Prevention publications from the second half of 2008.
• The Office of AIDS, HIV/AIDS Case Registry Section, provides basic AIDS and HIV statistics.  The monthly report is available after the beginning of the next month.  For example, January HIV/AIDS statistics are available in early February.  The HIV statistics became available starting in 2003.
• To obtain data prior to January 2003, please contact the Office of AIDS, HIV/AIDS Case Registry Section at (916) 449-5866.
• To request HIV/AIDS Data, please complete and submit the Request for HIV/AIDS Summary Data form CDPH 8532 (PDF) *Due to urgent systems deployment tasks between December 2008 and July 2009, response to data requests may take longer than the standard 10 working days.
