About Us:
The CDPH Public Health Microbiologist (PHM) Training Program is offered in collaboration with the California Association of Public Health Laboratory Directors (CAPHLD) and participating public health laboratories to meet the on-going workforce needs for certified Public Health Microbiologists (PHM) and provide professional development opportunities. The primary goal of this program is to train qualified individuals to meet CDPH Laboratory Field Services' eligibility and certification requirements for Public Health Microbiologists by the state of California.
