Flu Vaccine
The Flu Vaccine Toolkit provides resources and downloadable materials to help you educate your community about the benefits of the flu vaccine. For more information about flu prevention and vaccine eligibility, visit Influenza.
Vaccination for flu also reduces the risk of bird flu co-infection and lost time at work. For messages specifically for farmworkers at higest risk of bird flu, go to

Flu can cause serious illness in older adults and people with health conditions that make it harder for their bodies to fight viruses. Everyone 6 months and up should get this year’s flu vaccine so they’re protected – and also less likely to infect others.
Stay up to date on vaccines to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Pregnant? Protect yourself and your developing baby by getting your flu vaccine this season. A flu vaccine now will protect your baby when they’re born. Babies younger than 6 months are too young to get the flu vaccine. Their only protection is from maternal antibodies passed on during pregnancy.
