| Suggested message: Your baby’s first protection against COVID-19 comes from you. Babies under 6 months are at high risk for getting very sick from COVID-19 but are too young to get their own vaccine. When you get vaccinated during pregnancy, you pass antibodies that help protect your baby after birth.
If you’re pregnant, talk to your prenatal care provider about getting the COVID-19 vaccine so your baby is protected before they’re even born.
