Hosting a Fellow

The California Pathways into Public Health (Pathways) Fellowship Program is a paid training program for people interested in starting a career in public health.

The program provides fellows the opportunity to gain entry-level public health experience by working at a local health department in California, while also building proficiency in core skills and competencies that support their ability to deliver the 10 Essential Public Health Services (EPHS) .

Upon completing the 13-month program, fellows have applied for positions with local health departments and other public health agencies or pursued a higher education in public health.
