Antimicrobial Resistance (AR)
Data & Reporting
Title 17 Sections 2505 and 2500 require all California laboratories to submit positive laboratory reports for carbapenemase-producing organisms (PDF) and Candida auris (C. auris) (PDF), and healthcare providers to report all cases of C. auris to public health. Some local health departments have requirements for reporting and submitting carbapenem-resistant organisms. Find resources on data, surveillance, and reporting for these AR pathogens.
Candida auris & Carbapenemase-producing Organism Dashboard
Welcome to the Candida auris & Carbapenemase-producing Organism Dashboard, which provides summary information on cases identified in California healthcare facilities. Data in the dashboard are updated approximately every three to six months, and data from the 12 months prior to the last update should be considered preliminary.
