Final Announcement of Awards
Request for Applications (RFA) #25-10029
6/10/2025
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Maternal, Child and Adolescent Health Division (MCAH) is pleased to announce the successful applicants and funding awards for ASH Ed for the contract period of July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2028.
CDPH/MCAH received 24 applications of which the 20 highest scoring applicants have been selected for funding. As outlined in the RFA, all CA PREP applications were scored first. Once CA PREP awardees were determined, I&E applications corresponding to the awarded CA PREP agencies were reviewed and scored as described in the RFA.
CDPH/MCAH notes that the RFA process was highly competitive and thanks all applicants for their thoughtful proposals and commitment to promoting adolescent sexual health education efforts in California.
Awards are contingent upon federal PREP funding levels, I&E state general funds and appropriations, contract negotiations, and state spending authority. Prior to and during contract negotiations, applicants will be required to submit additional budget and contract information to meet the RFA and contract requirements. Upon completion of contract negotiations, a contract will be executed.
