Violence and Injury Data

These data briefs and fact sheets are produced by CDPH CalVDRS, a program funded by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC); and the Office of Suicide Prevention, for the purposes of conducting statewide surveillance on violent deaths that occur in California and collected through multiple sources (i.e. death certificates, medical examiner/coroner reports, and law enforcement reports). Data is collected from participating counties.  For more information, please visit the CalVDRS homepage or contact CalVDRS@cdph.ca.gov
