    Links death certificate data with medical examiner, coroner, and law enforcement reports for a detailed understanding of violent deaths. Includes separate dashboards on “Deaths by Suicide" and “Deaths by Homicide."​
  • California Injury Data Online - EpiCenter
    Online query system with data on injury and violence-related deaths, hospitalizations, and emergency department visits in California.
  • California Firearm Injury Dashboard
    Online query system with California data on firearm injuries that resulted in death, hospitalization, or an emergency department visit.
  • California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS)
    Statewide survey of grades 7, 9, and 11, focusing on resiliency, protective factors, risk behaviors, and school climate. Includes data on teen dating violence, gang involvement, bullying, and perceived safety.
  • Youth Suicide Deaths Dashboard
    Provides the number of deaths due to suicide per 100,000 youth aged 15-24 years who resided in California at the time of death from 2010-2022.
  • California Gun Homicides 2014-2022
    Built to visualize and conceptualize the available data of reported gun homicides that is part of a larger effort by Hope and Heal Fund to raise awareness about where and when gun-related homicides have occurred in California communities.

  • CDC Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBSS)
    YRBSS measure health-related behaviors and experiences that can lead to death and disability among youth and adults.  Among several health topics is Unintentional Injuries and Violence that explores risky behaviors that contribute to violence and suicide-related behaviors.
