New Medications Added to the ADAP Open Formulary



​The purpose of this memo is to notify AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Enrollment Workers and providers about new additions to the ADAP Open Formulary since its launch in January 2026. These additions enhance access to essential therapies for clients statewide and reflect ADAPs ongoing commitment to providing broader pharmaceutical coverage.

*Prior Authorization required as the use of long-acting cabotegravir without long-acting rilpivirine has not been studied in clinical trials. Consult a clinical HIV expert if a treatment regimen with long acting cabotegravir combined with other antiretrovirals is being designed.

Note: Several diabetic supply products appear in the dataset but are not included here, as they represent new manufacturers or brands rather than new formulary categories.
