California COVID-19 Vaccination Program

 Proper vaccine management is essential to the success of California’s COVID-19 Vaccination Program. Following guidelines through the entire cold chain helps ensure vaccines are effective and limited supplies are not wasted. Providers must stay up-to-date with state, federal, and manufacturers’ guidance for:

  • Storage and handling
  • Temperature monitoring
  • Receiving and transporting vaccines
  • Redistribution, repositioning and transfers
  • Satellite, temporary and off-site clinics

The COVID-19 Call Center for Providers is dedicated to medical providers in California and their COVID-19 response, specifically addressing questions about program requirements, enrollment, and vaccine distribution.
