How do you know if your facility is complying with best practices if you do not assess daily practice? Regular adherence monitoring allows a facility to evaluate strengths and gaps in care. The CDPH HAI Program adherence monitoring page provides a variety of free tools that outpatient facilities can use to improve infection prevention practices. Tools available include:
Use this form for all transfers to another healthcare facility to communicate important infection control information. Establish contacts at your network of facilities to facilitate exchange of information.
Use this training program to educate and re-educate staff on injection safety procedures.
