Fall 2026 Annual Conference
The CCLHO Fall 2026 Annual Conference will be held October 21–23, 2026, at Hotel Katerina in Chico, California. The conference is presented in partnership by the California Conference of Local Health Officers (CCLHO), Health Officers Association of California (HOAC), and California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
The three-day conference will include the CCLHO Fall Business Meeting and HOAC's Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, “Recovery Starts Now – The Health Officer's Role in Disaster."

CCLHO has reserved a block of rooms at a conference rate of $189.00 per night, plus applicable taxes and fees, for single or double occupancy.

Transportation Information
Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is approximately 90 miles south of Chico. Attendees should allow approximately 1½ to 2 hours of driving time, depending on traffic.

Attendees may also travel to Chico by Amtrak from their point of origin. Amtrak provides rail and connecting bus service to Chico. Travelers should select Chico, CA as their destination when planning their trip and check Amtrak for current schedules and availability.
Driving Directions from Sacramento International Airport:
Exit Sacramento International Airport and follow the signs to Airport Boulevard. Merge onto Interstate 5 (I-5) North toward Redding. Continue on I-5 North for approximately 15 miles, then take Exit 522 to merge onto State Route 99 (CA-99) North toward Yuba City/Chico.
Continue on CA-99 North for approximately 72 miles. Take the East 20th Street exit in Chico, turn left onto East 20th Street, then turn right onto Baney Lane. Continue approximately 0.3 miles. Hotel Katerina, located at 1930 Baney Lane, Chico, CA 95928, will be on the left.
