California Clean Air Day: October 7, 2026
California Clean Air Day is a statewide clean air event held each year on the first Wednesday of October. For this day, Californians pledge to take simple, meaningful actions that reduce air pollution and protect public health.
We are doing our part by sharing this social media toolkit about the connection between air pollution and our warming planet.
The theme is, “Clean air isn't just about breathing easy today, it’s about protecting our climate for tomorrow.” Recommended climate actions include talking to family, friends and neighbors about protecting our clean air and visiting our Climate Action web page.
Local health jurisdictions and community-based organizations can access the and may add co-branding. The raw asset is available in Canva for tailoring for your local community! Email to access the toolkit asset.
