The California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Injury and Violence Prevention Branch (IVPB), released the Request for Applications (RFA) # 23-10480, Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) Program, to award up to sixteen grants to local rape crisis centers and community-based organizations that implement primary prevention strategies within local communities and populations in need. Grantees implement and evaluate sexual violence (SV) prevention community/societal-level strategies using community engagement approaches. The RPE Program also provides funding for training and technical assistance (TTA) and evaluation.
As of February 2024, CDPH/IVPB RPE Program awarded contracts in response to Request for Application #23-10480, Rape Prevention and Education (RPE) Program to the following sixteen organizations:
