Early Care and Education

California SNAP-Ed Early Childhood (or Early Care and Education) (ECE) activities include nutrition education, physical activity integration, and also providing technical assistance with assessing ECE settings to support best practices of children’s nutrition and physical activity environments.

SNAP-Ed ECE trainings focus on providing support to local implementing agency staff that provide technical assistance to direct care providers in ECE settings or conduct activities with children ages zero to five. In-person workshops and webinars include interactive activities to support learning.

Visit Training & Events Calendar for upcoming trainings.
