California Epidemiologic Investigation (Cal-EIS) Service
Cal- EIS Applicant Requirements
- United States citizenship or possession of a Green Card permitting permanent residence in the United States.
- Possession of a master's or doctoral degree in a health related field (e.g. Masters in Public Health, doctorate in Public Health, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine); and having taken at least one course in epidemiology and one course in biostatistics during a graduate/professional school.
The primary selection criteria are demonstrated interest in and ability to practice epidemiology in California public health agencies.
