Cal- EIS Applicant Requirements
United States citizenship or possession of a Green Card permitting permanent residence in the United States, or receipt of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA).
Possession of a master's or doctoral degree in a health-related field (e.g., Masters of Public Health, doctorate in Public Health, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine); and having taken at least one course in epidemiology and one course in biostatistics during graduate/professional school.
The primary selection criteria are demonstrated interest in and ability to practice epidemiology in California public health agencies.
