The California Opioid Overdose Surveillance Dashboard (CA Dashboard) is an ongoing collaboration between California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Injury and Violence Prevention Branch (IVPB), the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD), Department of Justice (DOJ), and the California Health Care Foundation (CHCF). The Dashboard presents visualizations (maps, charts, and graphs) for four types of data: opioid and other drug-related overdose deaths, ED visits, and hospitalizations, as well as opioid prescription data from California's prescription drug monitoring program (CURES). These data are presented in counts, crude, and age-adjusted rates available at the state, county and zip code level. All aggregate data used on the CA Dashboard can be downloaded by users according to their selected parameters. The CA Dashboard is funded in part through grants from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the California Department of Health Care Services.
